Good example of the popular Swarbrick designed S111 cruiser/racer. Solid construction with a good turn of speed. Other S111s have been used as bareboats, Navy training boats and of course club and offshore race boats. "Galatea"was built in 1981 and has been always very well maintained by fussy owners. She has raced to Hobart and in many other offshore events and has also cruised extensively. With many inclusions and ready to cruise or race, she has wheel steering and a Furlex headsail furler was fitted recently for easy shorthanded sailing. Boasting a very spacious cockpit, these are great boats for social sailing, ideal for twilights. Now much reduced for immediate sale. Keen vendor seeks offers. For further information, inventory details and additional photos or to arrange your inspection on the Gippsland Lakes, please contact Stuart Loft on 0488 055 462 or complete the on-line enquiry form.

Noeleen 111, a well known yacht on Port Phillip since first launched by the fondly remembered Ken King in 1981, is now offered for sale. Designed as an IOR 1 Tonner by Kell Steinmann and superbly built in laminated timbers, she is still going strong and providing plenty of sailing fun. Once a successful offshore racer, she is now an ideal club racer and twilighter She is equipped with a strong fractional rig and some excellent sails including an easily managed asymmetric spinnaker, a Volvo Penta 28 HP diesel installed new in 2006, plenty of electronics including GPS with Plotter and a VHF radio. Safety gear is to Club racing level, approx Cat 6. Recent deck layout changes mean she can easily be sailed short-handed. Her wide, spacious and well laid out decks are so easy to work on and her 8 berth, roomy, varnished timber interior is a great location for post race parties or overnight stays at regattas. This iconic yacht once hosted some of the best parties in Victorian sailing history and many of Victorias offshore sailors sailed their first blue water races aboard her. If you are looking for a low budget, fun yacht to sail in club races or twilights with family and friends then this well known performer should appeal. Adams Tens need no introduction. Since Joe's inspired design back in 1976, they have continued to win races and provide great sailing fun at low cost and in all weather. This cruising ten has the same roomy cockpit as her flat top sisters but enjoys more room down below with four berths, a basic galley with meth spirit stove and a sink, a marine toilet plus the benefits of an inboard diesel engine to get you home when the wind drops out. She was fitted with new S/S wire rigging in 2013 and has a good wardrobe of sails for club racing. There are two mainsails and four headsails including number 1, 2, 3 and 4 jibs plus two conventional spinnakers and an asymmetric spinnaker flown from a removable bow prodder. She is set up for easy sailing with 6 winches and 14 rope clutches with all halyards and controls led aft to the cockpit. She comes complete with a VHF radio, log, speedo, wind and depth electronics and safety gear as required for club racing. Last slipped and antifouled in mid-2017, she is ready to sail away and enjoy. Offered at a sensible price, why not put together a syndicate to enjoy fast, fun sailing on a budget. Her owners have upgraded to a bigger boat and this yacht must be sold ASAP. Offers will be considered! For further information or to arrange your inspection at Sandringham, please contact Chris Furey on 0410 551 977 or complete the on-line enquiry form.
