The Northshore 46 has long proved its worth as a well found, fast and safe offshore cruising yacht. This 1985 launched NS46 has cruised the world and is the first of the model to have circumnavigated the globe. Equipped to the hilt with everything you could want for such a voyage, she circled the globe for 9 years and visited dozens of countries. Since her return home, she has been re rigged and had a new engine installed so she is absolutely ready to sail away. Her comfortable and spacious teak trimmed interior can sleep up to 8 and features enormous storage capacity. She has a well equipped galley, an excellent chart table and nav area and a roomy saloon that can seat 8 around the central table on leather upholstered settees. The good sized bathroom has a marine toilet, wash basin and hot & cold shower. Television and quality stereo provide for great entertainment or you can just lounge on the cockpit cushions and read a book. She has been set up for short handed sailing with an easily managed cutter rig and quality deck equipment. She has a great turn of speed and her shoal draft with daggerboard keel configuration opens up so many more waterways than a deep keel boat can visit. Her comprehensive inventory includes Furler, Electric halyard winch, Autopilot, Radar, AIS, GPS with chart plotter, Watermaker, Fridges and Freezer, Hot water, Dinghy with outboard, Solar charging, Electric anchor windlass with Sarca anchor, Heart power management system, Full covers against wind, waves, rain and sun, a vast array of engine, mechanical and sailing equipment spares and so much more. She has a fully documented record of upgrades and maintenance along with highly detailed ongoing maintenance instructions. You name it, it's all there, she is an Australian Registered Ship and waiting to set sail again on new adventures. If you are serious about comfortable blue water or coastal cruising in an easily handled yacht then you really must inspect this one! The Beneteau First 34.5 is one of those delightfull mixes of a refined sailing yacht married to a comfortable coastal cruising boat. Joie de Vie is an excellent example of the marque and has been lovingly well maintained by just two owners to date. She is roomy and well appointed below with a 2 double cabin layout ,and 2 settee berths in the saloon area providing accommodation for 6. There is a good gally layout with a gas 2 burner+ oven stove, double sinks, hot/cold pressure water supply, and top loading fridge. In the saloon area there is a large double leaf folding table , lots of stowage, and a well equipped forward facing navigation station including B & G sailing instruments, VHF radio, and a 1/2 admiralty chart size table, (sadly missing on many new vessels below 15mtrs.) On deck she is a highly functional cruiser/racer with furling headsail, slab reefing mainsail with lazyjacks and boombag, a well layed out comfortable cockpit with tiller steering, including autopilot, self tailing winches ,mainsheet traveller, backstay adjuster, and a dodger to protect you from the weather. A great layout for short handed sailing. She has a good wardrobe of sails too. Her standing rigging was replaced in 2004 and the forestay in 2007 there is a recent rig and survey reoprt on the boat. She is powered by a Volvo 3 cyl 29 Hp diesel fitted in 2003, with a 3 blade Autostream feathering propeller the engine has been regularly serviced (Last service in 2016). Overall she represents an excellent choice for a little cruising mixed with weekly twilight club racing, or short handed extended cruising. Adams Tens need no introduction. Since Joe's inspired design back in 1976, they have continued to win races and provide great sailing fun at low cost and in all weather. This cruising ten has the same roomy cockpit as her flat top sisters but enjoys more room down below with four berths, a basic galley with meth spirit stove and a sink, a marine toilet plus the benefits of an inboard diesel engine to get you home when the wind drops out. She was fitted with new S/S wire rigging in 2013 and has a good wardrobe of sails for club racing. There are two mainsails and four headsails including number 1, 2, 3 and 4 jibs plus two conventional spinnakers and an asymmetric spinnaker flown from a removable bow prodder. She is set up for easy sailing with 6 winches and 14 rope clutches with all halyards and controls led aft to the cockpit. She comes complete with a VHF radio, log, speedo, wind and depth electronics and safety gear as required for club racing. Last slipped and antifouled in mid-2017, she is ready to sail away and enjoy. Offered at a sensible price, why not put together a syndicate to enjoy fast, fun sailing on a budget. Her owners have upgraded to a bigger boat and this yacht MUST BE SOLD ASAP. MUCH REDUCED, BRING OFFERS!! For further information or to arrange your inspection at Sandringham, please contact Chris Furey on 0410 551 977 or complete the on-line enquiry form.
