The Peter Cole designed Eastcoast 31 half tonners are well regarded for their sailing qualities as well as for their spacious and comfortable accommodation. Equally at home offshore, in club races or just cruising with family and friends, they are a safe and sturdy boat with a good turn of speed. Her generous headroom will surprise and there is sleeping room for up to seven. Fully equipped with galley, marine toilet, shower, spacious dinette that converts to a double berth when needed, there is plenty of storage space for weekends away. "Astarte" has been a well known yacht on Port Phillip for many years and has enjoyed good success in bay and offshore racing. She is easy to sail with wheel steering, all lines and controls led to the cockpit, An economical and reliable Volvo Penta MD2020 diesel engine was installed in 1995 while her sail drive leg was replaced in mid 2017 and has a new folding propeller. Sails include mainsail, two furling headsails, two spinnakers with twin spinnaker poles plus storm sails. She is safe, solid and sails well, this is well worth a look, For further information or to arrange your inspection in St Kilda, please contact Chris Furey on 0410 551 977 or complete the on-line enquiry form.

This pretty 33ft cruising cutter was shipwright built of Huon Pine that was harvested prior to the flooding of Lake Pedder in Tasmania. The decks are laid Celery Top pine over marine ply. Her design is based on the famed 33ft Slocum inspired Spray design from Bruce Roberts. She was launched in 1984 and cruised extensively throughout the Pacific and on to Japan under her original shipwright owner - builder, Chris Dunkley. Returning to Australian waters, she then spent six years cruising on the Gippsland Lakes before sailing to Port Phillip. She is an Australian Registered Ship. Her many traditional features include the clipper bow, the bowsprit, cast bronze cabin ports and fittings. Her cutter rig is easily managed and includes features to make her even easier to sail short-handed such as the headsail furler, self tailing central winch, the Autohelm electronic tiller pilot and the Muir electric anchor windlass with two anchors and 30m of chain. She is powered by a Yanmar 2QM 15HP diesel engine with a new 70 amp alternator. Her electronics include Navman GPS, Icom HF radio, GME VHF radio, Log Speedo and Depth Sounder. She has a wind generator, a 240-12v Inverter, two 12v batteries and she was recently professionally re-wired. This delightful yacht features a cleverly designed interior with three newly upholstered berths, a good sized Saloon and Navigation table, an enclosed marine toilet and a surprising amount of storage space such as is needed for extended cruising. There is good headroom throughout and she has a classic old world timber yacht ambience about her. Well maintained and with freshly painted trim, she is usually kept under full deck covers.
